Right Field: your job on every play

The right fielder fields hits to right and throws through the cutoff man or hits the relay man. When the ball goes elsewhere he backs up the center fielder or drifts in behind second. On bunts he comes in behind first.

The right fielder's rules

  • On a single, throw through the cutoff man, chest high.
  • On a double, hit the relay man in the chest.
  • On a double to the left side, drift in behind second.
  • On a bunt, come in behind first.
